Florida Townhouse
Upon arrival, before proceeding to
our rented Florida townhouse, we found the gated main entrance is guarded 24
hours by a team of security personnel. This gave us a sense of ease and we also
appreciated being guided towards the address of our Florida townhouse.
Our Florida townhouse was simply luxurious. It had 3 Bedrooms, all En-Suite, and
a 50" Plasma TV in the lounge. The fully-fitted kitchen in the Florida townhouse
included a dishwasher, full-size cooker, microwave, American size
fridge-freezer, tumble-dryer and washing machine. For the dining room and
breakfast bar in our Florida townhouse we had enough crockery for eight people.
The plunge pool that comes with a Florida townhouse is FANTASTIC. It is small,
about 12 ft square, but most people would find very little time to spend at the
pool at the Florida townhouse with so many theme parks available almost on your
doorstep. Also, the pools that come with a Villa are only a little bigger than
those of
a Florida townhouse, but allow more sunshine to enter the pool area.
The clubhouse and communal pool were excellent but quite busy. This is probably
because the visitors who rent condos instead of Florida townhouses or villas on
the resort do not have their own private pool and therefore make more use of the
communal facilities.
Booking car hire is essential but here is a word of advice. If there are only
four people visiting your Florida townhouse and you book your car in advance,
just ask for an Economy car. In Florida they may advise an upgrade to a Compact,
but we took three large suitcases to our Florida townhouse and the Dodge
Calibre, classed as Economy, was more than big enough.
When you eat out, instead of having a meal in your Florida townhouse, Bob Evans
on HWY 192, with an extensive menu and good friendly traditional
service-with-a-smile, comes highly recommended. Very tasty meals and portions
enough to satisfy even the most-hearty of appetites.
Denny's was disappointing on this visit to our Florida townhouse. The food
seemed bland to us and the service was only average.
Subway, Dairy Queen and of course Wendy's should all be on your list of places
to eat-out when away from your Florida townhouse..
Another tip when out at night from the Florida townhouse is to visit Universal
at night. This is a great way to get on some of the main rides without having to
wait any more than about 15mins. During the day the wait for some of the rides
can reach 90mins.
Windsor Hills is the world’s best for a holiday. In 2010 we will book a Florida
townhouse for three weeks!.
