Florida Vacation Villa
We've actually stayed here twice in two
different Florida Vacation Villa. The first time was in September 2007 and then
again in March 2008. The Windsor Hills Resort is really beautiful and well
maintained. The resort pool, to which you have free access when you rent a
Florida Vacation Villa, is huge with a waterslide for older children and adults
and also has a zero entry area which is good for toddlers. There's also a splash
area beside the pool with fountains for younger kids to play in. The clubhouse,
which everyone from the Florida Vacation Villa are free to use, has a pool table
and ping pong tables and some video games, a movie theatre, fitness room, store
etc.
It should be clarified that: the Windsor Hills Resort does not actually rent out
the condos, townhouses or Florida Vacation Villa. Each of the Florida Vacation
Villa is owned by an individual who either supervises everything themselves or
has a management company to look after it for them. So each Florida Vacation
Villa will have different facilities and decoration chosen by the owner.
The Florida Vacation Villa in September was furnished to a higher standard than
the Florida Vacation Villa we stayed at in last March. It had a wall mounted
plasma television, nice furniture, pool furniture, and provided free long
distance calls, high speed internet etc. The Florida Vacation Villa in March,
booked through a management company, had the basics but no real extras, but this
was probably reflected in the rental. However, all of the Florida Vacation Villa
are new so nothing is run down but obviously each has its own level of
decoration.
My only suggestion for the resort would be that they might install an additional
small water slide for children under 48 inches in height. The large water slide
may only be used if the child is taller than 48 inches. Nevertheless, this was
the perfect holiday location for a Florida Vacation Villa.
Based on my own experience I think anyone would be delighted with the resort but
it would always be best to book your Florida Vacation Villa directly from the
owner. If you do this you will know exactly what you're getting and the
amenities that are included along with pictures of the Florida Vacation Villa.
Booking through a management company may only tell you that you're getting a
townhouse, condo or Florida Vacation Villa. To be safe, I would recommend
booking through
